Grain Farming is the mass planting and harvesting of grain crops, such as wheat, barley, and millet.
What is Grain Farming?Farmers who do Grain Farming only have one purpose: Plant and harvest crops of grain for the consumption of humans. There are two wheat harvests: a winter-wheat harvest and a spring-wheat harvest. In the US different regions have different climates. Wheat that grown in Kansas can not be grown in Montana. Kansas, Colorado, and Oklahoma are the winter-wheat states because the plant their crop in the autumn which till winter and is harvested in the beginning of summer. North and South Dakota, Montana, and South Canada are the spring-wheat because they plant their crops in the spring and harvest in the late summer. For these states the winters are too harsh to grow the crops.
